In order to keep our rates as affordable as possible, all kayaks, canoes, rigid paddle boards and some rafts / frames will be delivered to a nearby freight terminal for you to pick up. We can also ship to a certified commercial business address for the same cost. Please provide the business name and address as your shipping address at checkout. Residential delivery may be possible for an additional fee (contact us for more info). We do our best to find terminals that are no more than 45 miles from the address you provide on your order.
We try to avoid any additional shipping charges, but in some cases they are necessary. We reserve the right to charge exact shipping for any boat or board. We will call to confirm any additional shipping charges prior to sending the boat.
*Due to our dealer agreements, certain brands such as, but not limited to, Jackson Kayaks, Wilderness Systems Kayaks and Hobie Kayaks must meet the minimum advertised shipping price.
**If a boat is damaged during transit, any damage must be reported to 4Corners within 3 business days. The customer is also responsible for having the freight company list any damage BEFORE signing any paperwork. We will have no recourse if you do not have the freight company document the damage on the Bill of Lading.**
USED BOATS & BOARDS
The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs on any used or consignment kayaks, canoes or paddle boards. We charge an estimated base shipping rate at checkout and will contact you with any additional freight fees prior to shipping. Please contact us or call: 800-426-7637 for an exact shipping rate.
Please be aware that there is almost no shipping liability on used boats / boards. The customer assumes all risks and liability of shipping used items without additional full-value insurance. We can add full-value insurance coverage at an additional charge. Please contact us for a quote.
REGIONAL BOAT SHIPPING:
We can now ship any large kayak, canoe, SUP, rafts or other large packages to most of Colorado, Utah, Northern New Mexico, Southern Wyoming, Southern Idaho and parts of Montana more affordably via several small regional carriers.

Oversized Items (other than boat / boards)
Oversized items will ship at a flat oversized rate based on size and/or weight. Items such as (but not limited to) dry boxes, one-piece oars/paddles, biminis, firepans, tables, frames and some frame components are considered oversized items. Rates are listed on the product page and are for economy shipping. Please contact us for a quote for expedited shipping on oversized packages. All products exceeding 108 inches (9 feet) in length or 150 pounds in weight must be shipped via Motor Freight.
*Oversized Items do not have an online option for expedited shipping. Please call us for a quote on expedited shipping on oversized items. Customer will be charged the exact shipping rate for expedited oversized shipping.*
OVERSIZED TO ALASKA / HAWAII:
Customers in Alaska or Hawaii will pay the exact freight amount for oversized shipments. You will be charged the oversized base rate plus 25%, at the time of checkout and we will contact you for any additional amounts above that calculated rate. Please contact us before placing your order if you would like an exact quote.
Local Pick-Up:
We offer a local pick-up option for orders to be picked up at the store. There is no charge for local pick-up, but local tax rates will apply. Select “Local Pick-Up” at checkout. We will hold your order to be picked up in person at our Durango location.
International Shipping:
We are not shipping internationally at this time. You are welcome to try to use a freight forwarder, but we are not responsible for providing any additional documentation (such as CUSMA forms) beyond an invoice.
Shipping Information and Policies:
We ship primarily with the US Postal Service (USPS). In instances when we cannot ship USPS, we will ship via United Parcel Service (UPS) and FedEx. Some items which exceed standard carrier size limitations (i.e. kayaks, canoes, rafts, frames and one piece oars) can only be shipped by motor freight. P.O. Boxes must ship United States Postal Service (USPS).
If you CANNOT receive USPS shipments at your address, please note that your order must be shipped via FedEx or UPS in the order notes.
Hazardous Materials:
We can not ship Hazardous Materials at this time. All paints, solvents, adhesives, and resins are classified as Hazardous Materials.
